Zoombu
“ The Wow Factor helped me to develop a two-minute pitch for my startup. I got invaluable advice on delivery and Rob's infectious enthusiasm removed the scary aspect of preparing to give a pitch to hundreds of people”
Alistair Hann, Founder
Zoombu - Pitching for investment
The Challenge
Alistair Hann, the Founder of start-up travel company Zoombu, was in the final of a business competition and had to pitch his new business in just 2 minutes to a panel of judges including Dragon Deborah Meaden.
The Solution
Alistair worked with The Wow Factor to develop the content for the pitch. He built a snappy presentation that would stand out and leave an impression on the audience. With the content in place, the focus moved to coaching Alistair on his delivery of the pitch. Alistair recalls, "I got invaluable advice on my delivery, Rob's infectious enthusiasm removing the scary aspect of preparing to give a pitch to hundreds of people."
The Result
Alistair's pitch was delivered fluently and confidently and the judges were clearly impressed as they invested in his company. Alistair was ecstatic to win the investment and said afterwards, "the result was a winning presentation and, more importantly, I now have skills that I can apply to all my future presentations."
